The short term won't be too bad - I've said this before - it's after the 2012 elections that things will begin to unravel in a major way, regardless of who's elected. On the major issues both halves of the Demo-Publican party remain essentially in agreement and won't change much. However, each candidate (Gingrich will bow out this Wednesday and Ron Paul is considered by the MSM to be an also-ran) has secret plans about what they intend to do which won't be revealed until the post-election results are in, because they would be really unpopular with the voters. One difference will be how the new or re-elected Prexy will handle Obamacare. Under Obamacare, for instance, there's a major cut in Medicare re-embursements to doctors and hospitals which will, in effect, force many of them to limit care to these patients. Sorry, but ObamaNation-Care deserves to be scrapped in its entirety. One major question is: How much would each candidate in question appease and serve the Globalist puppet masters who really control the world [or believe they do]?... Obama knows already knows who the would-be massahs are by now, and Romney will bend into contortions to appease them willingly. The Euro-zone's financial problems will akso affect the US because theu are major trading partners, am a general depression there will bring a deeper recession here. "Our" Gov'mint is the best gov'mint big money can buy...
Right now "We're" more interested in "Americn Idol" and other populist entertainment than we are about some future debt problems of the government, but it affects us all in a negative way. Then there's the idea that you may want to protect your self and your family from it in time. Uunfortunately I won't be able to protect myself from its ravages that I'm pretty sure will be in our future at some point. I don't have enough resources to protect myself regardless of what I've researched. However, this article (rant) may help warn someone else steer clear of the brunt of what's coming very soon. Food prices, oil, gold, silver, gas, and other prices are all beginning to rise - as much as 6% a day at times for some of these commodities!. The worst part of this is that it won't make much difference in the long run (which in 'Mercan terms is about 190 days away - the General Election. Most people are still asleep at the switch, so, I'm asking that you remain awake long enough to get at least a gist of what I'm saying. The reality of the trouble this country (thus the world) is in is only one of the many worst case senarios that are possible - hyperinfation - which will wipe out most people in "the long run". The other one is an in addition to Hyperinflation in some sectors and deflation in others - Stagflation...
Americans will not wake up to these extreme dangers to their livliehoods until the whole system comes crashing down and you can't but gas, your ATM's stop working and the entire house of fraud comes down on us all. This could happen much, much sooner than anyone wants to tell you and will happen (100% certainty) if the voters and Washington (in that order) don't get their collective act together, very, very quickly and make some real and drastic changes to previous voting patterns. This cannot all be put on Congress and the President. You, the voter who consistently puts these men and women in office are just as responsible for this mess. Mr. and Mrs. America will feel the pain far, far more acutely than many of you right now are capable of imagining...

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the overall Reality of our situation is dire, regardless of what the government economists say. It's structured such that very few people will see it coming, so because it's under the radar of most Mercan's attention. It's not just one thing that's wrong, which would be bad enough, but a whole slew of things that are coming due in the near future.
As most people know or feel "Our" recovery really isn't one for many Mer'cans. Unless the Government reins in entitlements and the war machine, as well as the Federal Reserve then the believability factor that keeps the spitwads, duct tape, staples, and baling wire currenty holding our National and World Economy together will implode or explode in our faces, maybe both at the same time as early as November 2013 or in 2013 ;->.
It could happen overnight, and "The Bernank" The Soros", and The ObamaNation want it to happen, but I believe that this new 'loss of reserve status' a very high inflation rate will drag on over several years if not decades.
The chances of the right changes in the current system to fix the major problems from happening are extremely small if not nil, and that may be good for in the short run - but in the long run it's a disaster - well, Say La Vie, I've had a good life!...
There is just too much money to be made in the short term for the mot powerful people and too little awareness of what is happening before our eyes because it's almost invisible - until you look at the exploding price rises throughout the Economy. Most Mer'cans are totally unaware that their lifestyles and fortunes are at risk from the "hidden" tax of price inflation, that usually create glassy eyed stares when someone trys to bring it up,.
At the gist of our coming Financial Crisis is the nature of our banking and monetary system and how it really works. The dollar is not something that is intrisically valuable - it mostly represents gov'mint debt. This is because it's a faith-based fiat currency - people exchange goods and services for dollars and save it on the expectation - the assumption - that it's value will be the essentially be the same when one tries to spend it - worth as much as when it was earned - that assumption will be in for some very harsh trials in the future, for it's that assumption that is being slowly erased, which bringeth the fruits of price inflation. The National Debt can never be paid off using Federal Reserve Notes because those notes represent government DEBT, not assets. The gov'mint owes this debt and the interest on it, with no honest way of paying it back - so it will do so dishonestly as long as it can get away with it...
Currently pure inflation has a new name: Quanitative Easing. or a new future moniker, will be used once againt to cover up the real problems. The interest on the Debt is soon going to be so much that the gov'mint may just have to balk at paying it, so the proverbial printing presses will be working overtime to cover it until it can't be covered anymore (actually they'll make computerized entries or print checks). Quanitative Easing is pure inflation, and there has been alot of it going arund lately, thje other alternative is the sociopaths that run this country will go for the major war option.
Then there's the staggeroig amount that's owed by the gov'mint - $16 Trillion on the official balance sheet, $2 Trillon+ of borrowed money to cover the yearly gov'mint deficit, and much, much more on the unofficial balance sheet, which includes promises of future payments from such entitlement programs as Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, not to mention the unfunded promises of Federal and State Public Pension PLans that the federal government may just have to pick up if there to be payments at all. All considerations being given, we owe more money to more institutions and people than any country in the history of the world, and it will all come crashing down on us when a cacophony of black swan events hit all at one time. Here are two simplified examples of what the Fed does when it creates money, it buys the Federal Debt (treasuries) and monetizes it - orders the treasury to print money or just writes a check so the govenment can spend it. The second way is to use the fraud of fractional resevre lending. If I deposit $100 in the bank and the bank, immediately (if possible) lends most of it to another customer, who then deposits that into a bank and the second bank loans out $97 dollars if there is a fractional reserve requirement of 3%. Since there is no fractional reserve requirement at this time, the second bank can lend the full $100 which was deposited... Soon that original $100 is multiplied several times over, thus $100 can easily be turned into loans eventually worth $10,000 or more. This can be done because most people don't show up at the same time asking for their money. This practice is the normal way inflation in created. This supply of new money works its way into the general supply and demand cycle causing a rise in
demand which then causes a rise in prices.
When in an inflation the best way to get the full value of your currency is to spend it, and buy something that is not inflating in price, or to borrow it. Borrowing will become harder to do the longer the inflation continues to rise. The way of dealing with a Hyperinflationary trend is to spend it as quickly as possible. Storing commodities for future use and buying gold and silver help preserve current income before the rush into these commodites drives the price up monthly, weekly or daily depending on how bad the hyperinflation is. In ordinary inflation saving money to earn interest is a losing proposition, in hyperinlationary times it is foolish - which goes against the grain of being fiscally conservative...

05/20-22/12:Well, it's primary election time in Kalifia and since I vote by absentee ballot, I can ignore most of the expensive TV,rsdio and flyer ads trying to get me to vote for or against a particular person or propositions. Since I'm a registered Democrat, I voted for Prexy Obama and Sen. Feinstein this time around, The Prexy was the only person on the ball and voting for a writein candidate is a waste of time. but as to voting for them in the general election I'll probably have to hold my nose very tightly and vote for them again. The problem is that both Prezy candidates, both the Publican and Democrat, suck; and the decision is really to try and vote for the lesser of two evils. (I also voted against the two propositions)...
The main problem is the lesser of two evils is still evil, but there is no movement to have a write- in candidate that has a any chance of winning. No matter which candidate gets elected the next four years will still have those who have the money and power will still want much of the same things they do now: Global Governemce and the eventual elimination of two thirds of the World's population. Romney wants to eliminate Scocial Security and other gov'mint functions by privatizing them, which is a really bad idea. In fact, his agenda includes the elimination or privatization of several entitlement programs altogether. This is why I call them 'Publicans' - after the universally despised Roman privatized tax collectors of ancient times: If one votes for Romney you'll get the same Publican package and screeds against women's health and big gov'mint, as well as the rest of the Publican's odious platform planks on top of what the Movers and Shakers want. Again this time the rich and powerful may want One of Their Own in the Oval office this time around. Depending on how the Senate and House turn out we may see a return of McCarthyism and repression, more bush wars, and more oppressive laws.
The ObamaNation wants four more years to do the same stuff he promised the last tine around. His main problem is that he lies alot, and thinks that some good speeches will get the voters to forget his spectacular failures to lead, his many vacations, his general inactions, and utter betrayal on most of his promises from 2008. The country hasn't got the money this prexy wants to spend - the confidence in the value of the dollar will have a heart attack if he and is cronies spend more money on bankster's bailouts and stimulation of the economy by spending even more $Trillions to keep the U.S. out of a double dip recession. He also hasn't even got his own Denos on his side when it comes to comming out with an actual Federal Budget; and this has been the case for several years, not to mention Obamacare which is slowly becoming an albatross around the necks of the middle and lower middle econoic classes. I'll have more to say about these things later on in the year when things become less hazy and we can see both the forest and the trees before the general election...
94/16/12:The last two weeks plunged me into computer Hades when my computer froze at bootup and refused to load Windows XP. I also had frequent "blue screens of death" moments for months. The techs found out that my Windows XP was corrupted and just about all my data would be irretrievably lost unless I paid a large amount of money to "save" it from being erased, so everything was lost exept for some old stuff left on a USB drive.
Two hundred dollars, an immense amount of money in my finances, was stolen from me by a sneak thief - money that was saved to buy a new computer. I'll have to save most of my discrectioary income over 4 to 5 months to come up with the missing funds.

03/14/12:Google has recently adopted a global EULA that lets them collect informarion in different apps, using the same methods, globally (using the same data, no matter which app collected it, across the board) This means that if you use mail and the search engine, the company can use all of that personal information to "fix" the results according to what Google thinks you should get to mess with your head. For example; If you and someone else use Google to do a search, your SEARCH RESULTS WILL VARY depending on your likes and dislikes -- this is called "bubbling" - as you enter into the bubble it skews the results depending on your past use of their all of their services. I think that everyone understands, by now, that Google and other search engines sell the initial results it displays to advertizers and puts them in the first page before the actual results -- now the actual results are being tampered with usually without your knowledge. It's soon gong to be very difficult to dooge this scheme, as other search engines will do the same thing eventually. Google is ignoring its founding philosophy of "Do no Evil:. Power makes [some evil] pure as wind driven snow...
02/18/12:I don't use Twitter or Facebook because I believe that they collect and sell personal information, possibly to those who would not have my best interests at heart. Mebbe that makes me paranoid, but since Google has also changed it's tune, and no longer believes in "Do no evil", I'm wary of using it for more than just searching - y'all can still send me e-mail messages there - it's in the introduction. It should be a well known fact by now that potential employers look up a candidate's facebook and other informationm on-line to help decide their hiring decisions, and if I ever went back to work it would be just one more reason not to hire me. Unfortunately my full name is linked to this website, so my futile reaction is not to use it as well if I don't have to. I know that using "sheik_sebir" won't protect me against those who really have a desire to find out my background, but it's a small price to pay for this work....
02/09/12:The Madonna Half-time Show at the Superbowl Football Church was very interesting. Madonna appeared to be dressed as a Priestess of the Goddess Isis, or Ishtar, if not portraying the Goddess herself. The set even had a Wiccan star and other Pagan symbols on it, and later she wore a black robe with more darker meanings. Madanna is known for the religious paraphernalia she uses on stage, and she combined Satanist imagery at the latter part of her act, which was a strange non-sequiter to the beginning of her show...
01/26 - 02/02/12: Getting a computer virus is not pleasent, especially when it bricks your computer so that you can't use anything! That's why there haven't been any updates recently. Computer viruses come with using the internet, and my computer caught a doozy! The XP 2012 Antivirus {virus] got me good and it's still on my computer. Fortunately there is another computer at the house and I found out about using an earier version of the operating system. I'll have to buy a real antivirus program to keep it off. So, I'm back on track for the moment...
01/09/12: Oops! I forgot to mentiom 12-21-12 - the date that is either supposed to bring doomsday, or enlightenment, depending who you talk to. However, I personally don't believe that much will happen on that day, compared to the rest of the year. The only thing that will happen is the Mayan calendar will flip over, just like New Years, and the sky that appeared in 3113 BCE will look very similar to the one on 12-21-12. It would be nice if the gods send some enlightenment our way, but that's problematic...
01/01/12: Happy New Year! This is a night of happiness as the old year departs and the new year arrives with the hope for a New Beginning. When we come out of this bubble we'll come kicking and screaming into the same Reality as it was in 2011. I'm not a very good predicter of the furure, but I do have a few I'd like to venture with.

11/17-19/11: There is a very dangerous Fascist Bill sponsered by the Hollywood Elite and the US Chamber of Commerce that is quietly working its way through Congress that basically makes linking to copyrighted material on the Internet a rationale for destroying huge swatches of DNS website names in one fell swoop - without any judical review at all, just like the Chinese Communist's System does. For example: if the "Barsoom Fish 'Rap" were to link to "infringing material" under this bill the Feds would be able to take down all of Yahoo! in one senario.
Fascism through the use of fear is rising in this oountry and those with enough money can buy all sorts of special legislation. In this case, "Führer" ObamaNation will sign it if it comes across his desk
11/08-15/11: It used to be that when one would try to bring up the subject of Chemtrails most people would think that it was just another bizarre "conspiracy theory" promoted by "Coast to Coast AM" - along with space aliens at "Area 51" or the "New World Order"; which means that
the topic just has to be imaginary or that it has little or no substance of reality about it. 'It's only jet contrails', detractors will say -- implying that you must be stupid, or ignorant about what a jet contrail looks like. These chemtrails are more than just jet exhaust and the jets involved it it leave a X pattern in the skies, and doesn't dissapate, but widens until the skies are fully covered with a artificial haze...
The U.S. Government wouldn't be doing geo-engineering, or "climate remediation" to modify and conrol the weather to reflect away sunlight to try to stop global warming for instance. However, even though the documentation does exist on the gov'mint's own websites that show that the government's scientists and their contractors are showing a complete disregard for the health and safety of the ordinary citizen and the deleterious effects on plants like trees and other wildlife
that such a program would cause.
Bluntly: The governments of Great Britain and the United States have a treaty called "Global Geo-engineerimng Governance" to do just that - experiment with the weather, and we are the experimental subjects. From a look at the evidence they're well beyond the experimental stage, and are ready to do it on a worldwide basis! This is not just a NeoPagan concern. 11/04/11:Samhain went well, so now its time to work on the Yule Ish. One thing is bothering me though - the day of the holiday is usually the worst in the hits statistics. "'Tis a puzzlement?". That's one reason to keep most of the last Ish until its time to change over to the new one.
Most of the "Under The Editor's Rock have a pattern to their names that is useful when y'all may want to look up a FUTER that I've written in the past three years. For instance the current example is: "edrock_samhain11.html" without the quotes. So this would be at "http://www.barsoomfishrap.org/edrock_samhain11.html" Where '11' is the year. The ones that aren't in the pattern will be converted when I find the time...

10/28/11:So, it begins again, but without the bulls#it of having the U.N.'s approval[s]. It looks like we are in the prelude to another mini-war, and this time it looks like it's either going to be against Syria or even Pakistan, then possibly Iran in months, afterwards. The 'Mercan economy needs an economic boost and a military action fits the bill either as a way to hire more people, or to distract the public from its own problems for awhile. Naturally, it will cost $billions, or will get our 'good friend' and proxy, Israel to start it for us. Since we probably don't have the troops available for all these new conflicts, one should watch for and expect moves to reenstate the Draft. This, and other schemes to rein in our freedoms, will start after election day when the ObamaNation doesn't have to worry about reelection anymore, or the 'Publican winner does pretty much the same thing - for most of them, other than Ron Paul, are warmongers...

10/23/11:The alledged war criminal Henry Kissenger once showed his distain for "lesser mortals", and his contempt for the U.S. military by bluntly asserting that , "... military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy." (Woodward and Bernstein The Final Days in chapter 14). This is only one example of the things the psychopaths in and around the higher levels of the 'Mercan gov'mint believe without being so blunt about it in public. The 'Next Mini War' may be Iran with a side of Syria, and the bait is the alledged removal of most of our troops from Iraq, so as to sucker the Iranians to attack so that "We" can justify a new war with them. Meanwhile, the "false flags" (the attempts of one gov'mint to stage an event using the target enemy's' "colors" so it can be blamed on the target gov'mint in order to initiate hostilities) are being brought out of the closet already with the 'attempted assassination' of a Saudi diplomat alledgedly orchestrated by Iran. Attacking Iran is not a wise move, for it will end in a more generalized war (WWIII) as they have China and Russia on their side. We can expect a series of these as we approach the inevitable Iranian D-day...

Did y'all know that the anointed one, Barack Obama (Barry Soetoro), has set up a A Special Secret Kill List of foriegn nationals and Mer'can citizens the Gov'mint has decided to remove by murder without them being able to defend themselves in court? The ObamaNation has decided that it has the right to form special "Star Chambers" to have people killed without going through any legal process whatsoever. Most 'Mercans have little sympathy for Anwar al-Awlaki or his ilk, but our Constitution's Bill of Rights was written to protect those citizens or others who the gov'mint doesn't necessarily think are worthy enough to exist. If the Administration can kill a citizen outside of the country what's to stop them from assassinating citizens inside our country.
Now, I'm not naive - the government has been known to kill people they don't like, but this new action officially has secret faceless bureaucrats deciding to circumvent all legal protections to get to someone and kill them without bothering to go through the legal system, such as it is. Meanwhile the "Fast and Furious" scandal is slowly but surely creeping its way upward toward the US Attorney General, Hillary Clinton, and the President 'hisself'. After selling guns to Mexican drug lords, it might have been nice if they had put a transmitter inside them to report their where abouts so that they could retrieve the guns before they were used in crimes...

Occupy Wall St. has finally come up with a list of demands - and there is no non-negotiable demand for the Anointed One, The ObamaNation, to resign. Again, this is odd since the ObamaNation has responsibility for most of the wrongs that they are demonstrating for and against.
How about the murder of an American citizen ordered by the Imperator ObamaNation without showing any proof that Anwar al-Aulaqi was a terrorist to either the courts or the public. He was not a nice person, but extra-judicial killings are murder, plain and simple. How about the lack of new well-paying jobs, you know - the ones that are being moved 'offshore' to slave wage countries. And the auction of political figures and government regulations for cash 'donations'. Ain't "free speech" by bribery great - We have the best government that money can buy.

09/01/11:I spent Friday and much of Saturday in the hospital because of a pain in my chest. No, I didn't call 911 myselj - my caregiver did it over my objections. So the EMTs showed up promptly and I took a rough ride to an area hospital. After an extensive regimen of tests using high tech equipment, they found that I have heart arthymia - someting I akk ready knew about. The condition had improved when the EMTs gave me two squirts of nitroglyceran. They did nothing about my hand..

07/06/11:I hope everyone had a good July 4th! I went to the Elk Grove Park to have a picnic with my land ladie's extended family and watch some fireworks. My left index finger has developed into a medium sized blood blister which will take some time to heal. My other swollen finger looks like it may become a permanent feature like some of my other fingers. I'm seeing my doctor over this and other issues in mid-July.
06/25/11:I can't do alot of typing since I have sore wrists, some kind of swelling on my left index finger and my right forefinger id still swollen, so the Lughnasadh FUTER is probably going to be a short one. Nevertheless, I will still try to "hunt and peck my way through it...
06/18/11:Here is an article of interest: The first is about the new concept of cloud computing. It gives some caveats about trusting in the cloud and offers some ideas of what its all about. Cloud computing is an attempt of the high and mighty computer priests of old to retake the control of data, and computing itself, into more concentrated hands through a "cloud" stored in very large online databases. You need not worry about what programs to run because they also will be stored in, and run, from the Cloud. If they get their way then you'll have lost one of the advantages of having a PC - most of your programs and data are secure from search and seizure without a warrant - this is not true for the cloud! The first subject is on False Flags - Operations, usually military, which are done to put blame for something, like a terrorist, on another nation or group that disagrees with those doing the False Flag. Let 's say that I want to blame Egypt for sinking one of our ships. As the false flager, I paint several of my, or someone else's, jets in Egyptian colors and insignia and bomb the ship so that Egypt gets the blame, and the attacker isn't known. Pagan Fertility Rituals And Rites
Pagan fertility rites can be used for humans, cattle or crops and range from dancing round the maypole to blessing cattle as they go out into the field.
There are many fertility rites and rituals practised by Pagans and these mostly fall into three groups – those aimed at boosting human fertility, rituals for animal fertility and those aimed at increasing the amount produced by crops. Dancing is common in many such rituals, among the most famous being various Morris dances and dancing around the maypole.
Maypole Dancing
Dancing around the maypole is meant to be a ritual to welcome in the spring and bring good luck to farmers. Its origins are probably Germanic. The UK parliament banned maypole dancing in 1664 but it was restored later by King Charles II. Long ribbons are attached to the pole and each person grabs hold of a ribbon and dances round the pole in different directions to create a pattern. In most countries, maypole dancing takes place on or around the 1st of May but in Sweden it is also part of the midsummer celebrations.
Morris Dancing
Wassailing dances performed by Morris dancers are again meant to boost the fertility of crops. Elements of the dance also have other Pagan intentions such as clashing sticks to represent the battle between good and evil and ringing bells to scare away evil spirits. Wassailing also predates Christmas carols when people would go door-to-door singing. It some parts of England, it refers to cider drinking to the health of the apple trees.
Human Fertility
There are many goddesses associated with fertility and it was common to place statues or carvings of a goddess near to a couple’s bed. The statues could also be placed on the family altar with suitable offerings made. The Fertility Moon web site goes into more details about the different goddesses
Beltane
Beltane literally means the fires of Bel, a Celtic god. The Beltane festival held in the spring often involves a bonfire and courting couples gathering blossoms. As well as human and crop fertility, the fire and smoke were also meant to increase the fertility of cattle, which were brought to the fire.
Pomlazka
Pomlazka is still practiced in the Czech Republic on Easter Monday and involves men and boys spanking local women and girls with birch or willow branches until they give them decorated eggs. The whipping is meant to preserve the woman’s health and beauty for the coming year. These days, for men at least, the egg is normally replaced with a strong alcoholic drink. A version of this in Scandinavia has children dressed as witches going door to door asking for chocolate eggs while waving decorated willow branches.
Finnish Cattle Ritual
In some parts of Finland, it used to be the tradition that when the cows were first let out onto the new pastures in spring, a woman would stand over the barn door with her legs apart so the cows would be blessed by her lady parts and thus be more fertile.

04/17/11:The new war in Libya continues off of the "front pages" of the MSM, and no one has a clue as what will happen next. However, no war was ever won without having the introduction of professional ground troops to take and occupy the land. Controlling the skies and and using airpower alone just isn't good enough to win anything substantial - ever - even if its just a resignation of a despot! The present rebels, whatever else they may be, are incompetants when it comes to keeping territory they take from the government forces, and they are slowly losing the "stalemate". They aren't getting the aid they had hoped for from the air, and ost of them don't understand where the business end of a rifle is. Mission creep is invevitable just like in Vietnam when the "advisors" under Kennedy weren't enough to keep it from being lost, and ground troops had to be introduced to carry on the mission that the South Vietamese were incapable of handling themselves. Vietnam was run by the politicians in Washingtn and not the commanders in the field, and the resolution of the United States was tested and it failed because the powers-that-be in the latter stages of the conflict were more interested in getting out of the quagmire than "winning" the "police action". So Libya's despot is slowly winning, and as it becomes clear that the rebel forces are losing, and the more this happens the greater the temptation there will be to do more...

This is a edited verson of an article (rant) I wrote last year. My recent computer problems with a corrupt Windows XP permanemtly crashing have made it difficult to write a new FUTER by the deadline (which is today (4/30), and it's sobering to read what I wrote, and what really happened during the interval.
