I've [literally] dreamt of working with another incarnation of Two Rivers Nest, but CAW II was destroyed by its BoD, and CAW III is getting nearer to the time it can begin accepting new proto-nests. However, but, there hasn't been 3 CAW members to start an official nest in Sacramento in quite some time, much less Elk Grove, but I hear someone else is trying in Sacka-tomato and I wish them good luck! (they're going o need it... Alas, there aren't any CAW Members besides me in Elk Grove. CAW III is reforming and currently rewriting its nesting program, so the 2RN will stay a CAWTN Nest for the present [Oct 20, 08]. CAW III is accepting memberships again, but we're still very small. (Yes, I've joined CAW III).
The way Church of All Worlds Tradition Network [Association] (CAWTN) Nests work gives us far more latitude on what We can label a nest! This may seem arbitrary, but everyone's interests have to be respected and it's not carved in stone. If there's something you don't like about it then tell me, but no one actually reads the *&^% thing!
The "CAW Tradition Network" Dis-Organization Thealogy proclaims that discorporated entities, like SISL Martians and humans that have passed over, organizations, groups, councils, and Nests, continue to exist after formal discorporation [[ --this comes directly out of SI(A)SL (Some say the abbrieviation is SIASL, but I prefer SISL.]] - so there!...
TRN (CAW II) has been discorporate for several years, it still exists because I want it to, and it will continue on. This was "proved" when a special Working was created and performed with a CAWTN Priest (Tom Williams) and two members of 2RN, which re-created it as a temporary vehicle to perform a successful Wing-It Tradition::Wide Area Magick (WAM) Working described in the last CAW II Scarlet Flame. Someday I'll describe WAM in an article, but it takes alot of participants that have to intuit their role in creating the spell, and interpret the clues on how to end the spell...
My current health problems are an still an obstacle, so doing this won't be easy, but "The Two Rivers Nest" is semi-active again in the "Church of All Worlds Tradition Network" (CAWTN) as a study group. I don't expect CAW to recognize my CAWTN Ministry ; as I've said many times before, "Your mileage may vary!", and that applies to me as well. CAWTN is something I believe Oberon wants to exist, and so it goes...
The Green Gaiarinth (see "Welcome" for copyright info) and the Green Double Tree may be used by people wishing to associate themselves with the Church of All Worlds III, the 'CAW Tradition', or "Church of All Worlds Tradition Network".
